HUSSAIN SAGAR :-
The lake which is present even today its used to drink water in times of ancient days. Now the people traditionally call it as the " TANK BUND " - the meaning of this word as
TANK = i) Armour Fighting Vehicle.
ii) Water tank
BUND = i) A wall surrounded
ii) embankment
The bund of the water contained tank was build by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah. Why its named Hussain sagar means-
Hussain = The appreciation of Sufi saint Hazrath Hussain Shah Wali.
Sagar= means the water body like a lake or river
The King of the Hyderabad estate kept the lake name as Hussain memorial and sagar as the water body . The people used to called it as "Hussain Sagar " in ancient times. As the India educating the modern English language so far its named as " TANK BUND "
Now a days people using the word as - Cheruvu , Kunta , Mathadi etc.,. those every water bodies having bunds which the water flows to lower areas.Where is the Tank Bund ? Most of the people think that in the Telangana state i.e in Hyderabad. But people are not able to think every flowing water bodies and water shed areas have the bund. Think about this and can follow the ancient name as -"Hussain Sagar"
How to reach ancient Hussain Sagar :-
We can reach the Hussain sagar different ways transportation except water ways due to longer distance from the oceanic water as Follows.

3. Rail way
