Describe about the Two types of land Metta and Tari.:- Model

METTA:-

• This type of land mostly we can observed as the dry lands.These type of lands depends only on the rainfall to cultivate.
• Pulses are mostly grown in this land.
• Without using of irrigation these lands are cultivated.

• Example Crops:- Red gram ,Green gram, Jowar , Bajra .(Rainfeed).

TARI:-

•  Tari is the type of the lands which are cultivable by the Irrigation methods and as well as by the Rainfall.
• Here the Mainly Food grains are grown 

• Example Crops : Paddy , Wheat , Sugercane , Turmeric etc.,. (Irrigation ).

 TYPES OF SOILS:-

Allready we know that there were Black soils , Red Soils , Alluvial Soils, Sandy Sols are common in our areas.

According to the Agriculture soil Science & Chemistry There were different soils we can observe in our sourroundings. In Combine States we can Observe Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, there are 12 types of soils are there.

1. Coastal Sands.
2.  Deltaic Alluvium Soils.
3. Red Sandy Soils.
4. Red earth with Loamy sub-Soil.
5. Red earth with clay sub-Soil.
6. Red loamy soils with moderate deep.
7. Red loamy soils with deep.
8. Red soils with clay Base.
9. Laterite Soils.
10. Saline (Alkali) Soils.
11. Black Cotton Soils.
12. Black Soils.

1 . SANDY SOILS:-

• These types of soils can be seen in the coastal regions of the country.
•  Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Guntur , Prakasham Nellure districts are having these type soils.
• Water holding capacity is less.
• These are fertile lands.

2 . ALLUVIAL SOILS:-

• Thses are most fertile Soils.
• Krishna , Guntur , Nellure Districts are example for these districts.
• Paddy , Jowar Banana, Chilli Mango are mostly Grow in this soils.

3 . RED SANDY SOILS:-

• These are light weight soils and Red in colour.
• Rangareddy , Medak , Prakasham and Nellure are the places for these soils.
• Jowar , Ragi, Red gram Caster, Groundnut are grown with the Rainfeed.

4 . RED EARTH WITH LOAMY SUB-SOIL :-

• Most of the Telangana Districts , Nellure, Ananthapur Districts are having these soils,
• Jowar , Ragi,Maize, Geams are grown with the Rainfeed.
• Paddy , Sugercane , Chilli are grown with the help of the Irrigation systems.

5 . RED EARTH WITH CLAY SUB-SOILS:-

• Kurnool , Ananthapur Districts are having these soils.
• Kharif Crops are cultivated by the Rainfall. like Paddy , Sugercane , Chilli, Turmeric etc,.
• Rab Crops are Jowar , Green gram, Red gram etc.,.

6 . RED LOAMY SOILS WITH MODERATE DEEP:-

• Kadapa , Ananthapur , Chittur , Nellur are having these soils.
• Light in weight or moderated.
• Paddy , Sugercane are mostly grown.

7 . RED LOAMY SOILS WITH DEEP:-

• Khammam , Guntur Krishna.
• It is used to grow the Mango.
• Green manure has to be added to these soils.

8 . RED SOILS WITH CLAY BASE:-

• East Godavari- West Godavri Vijayanagaram.
• Humus content more in this soils.
• Tobacco, Ginger , Turmeric , Mango and Caster are Grown.

9. LATERITE SOILS:-

• Medak, Zaheerabad , Narayanakhed Rangareddy and Vikarabad are havig these type soils.
• These are mostly acidic in nature.
• Nitrogenic fertilizers has to be used more.
• Ca , Mg are more in percentage.

10. SALINE(ALKALI) SOILS:-

• Mahaboobnagar, Nalgonda , Nellure and Prakasham.
• Zypsum is to be added to these soils.
• Organic manures are used in more quantities.

11. BLACK COTTON SOILS:-

• Kadapa, Ananthapur , Mahabob nagar, khammam, and Nellur.
• Deficiency in Phosphorous.

12. Black Soils:-

•  Adilabad, Nizamabad , Warangal , KarimNagar, Medak, R R , Mahaboob Nagar.
• In Rabi Bengal Gram.
• In Kharif Paddy and Cotton.

• We are depending upon the soil for the production of food grains.
• Not only food but also the Non food crops  brought under cultivation.
• Soils are most important aspects to learn.
