Crafts Making Process

1.POTTERY:-
It is the process making pots with the earthenware , stoneware and porcelain.In India mostly the pots made by the Clay matter. The profession of members will make the pots from the olden times as hereditary.

PROCESS:

Clay soils taken for the making pot with definite shape on the potter wheel.
Leather- Hard : At this stage almost the moisture retained in the clay and able to keep stronger.
Biscuit Fired : This is the first time for the pots are fired in the kilns. This time the pots get the different colour.
Glaze Fired : This is the Final time the pots are fired in the kilns.It will help in the pots body get hardened.

2.METAL WORKS:-

Metal work is the process which helps in the metals to create individual parts, assembling and attaching the metals. Especially these type metal work is done by the machine tools with skills.These are helps in the large sectors.

PROCESS:

Forming:-This process which will helps in the Modifying the Metals .(Bulky)
Cutting :- This process includes the metals are brought to cut in the needed shapes for the other sectors use.Its require proper geometric measures.
Joining :- It is the process for the attaching of the metals by heating, soldering,and Welding.

3.WEAVING:-

It is a method of textile production in which two distinct sets threads are interlaced at right angles to form the fabric or the cloth. The longitudinal threads are called warp and the lateral threads are weft.

PROCESS:

Knitting:- It is the process makes multiple loops are called stitches.knitting have the rows of loops.
Felting: This is the process for pressing the threads together.
Braiding : this process helps in the making of yarn into rope like structure.And made as strongest threads.

6	Vittal	Basket making	Discontinuing	Now-a-days the people are using the plastic and metallic baskets instead of hand made. They are able to make but there was buying is less in quantity.	-
7	Narsamma	washing	Continuing	-	She is not satisfied with her income. Its insufficient to her family . All together family members are working in different occupation.

OPINION:-

Most of the peoples are from the above family are belongs to the Crafts families.
In the society there are different people chooses different professions.
From the above table we can say that, some of them are continuing their profession and some of they discontinued.
Although they are continuing but still not satisfied by their income.
Now - a- days the people showing much interest in the artificial goods or things rather than the hand made.
Here, the government should help by the cooperatives.
Which the people are mostly illiterate and unskilled.
They are working for the hours but they are not getting the fulfilment of wage rate for them.
They have to be get developed by the modern Technologies.
