YOGIS / SIDDAS / NATHPANTHIS :-
Born : Basavana Bagewadi, in Bijapur Karnataka.(1105 CE )
Died : Kudalasangama, Karnataka. ( 1167 CE )
1. The rich
will make temples for Shiva,
what shall I,
a poor man do ?
My legs are pillars,
the body the shrine,
the head a cupola of gold.
Listen, O lord of the meeting rivers,
things standing shall fall,
but the moving ever shall stay:
2. How can i feel right
about a god who eats up lacquer and melts,
who wilts when he sees fire?
How can i feel right
about gods you sell in your need,
and gods you bury for fear of thieves ?
The lord if the meeting rivers,
self-born , one with himslef,
he alone is the true god.
2. Gurunanak:-(Sikhism)

3. KABIR DAS :-
Born : Varanasi
Died : Maghar
1. Saints I have seen both ways.
Hindus and Muslims don't want discipline, they want tasty food,
The Hindu keeps the eleventh-day fast, eating chestnuts and milk,
He curbs his grain but not his brain, and breaks his fast with meat.
The Muslim prays daily, fasts a year, and crows "God!, God!" like a cock.
What heaven is reserved for people who kill chickens in the dark?
Instead of kindness and compassion , they have cast out all desire.
One kills with a chop, one lets the blood drop , in both houses burns the same fire.
Muslims and Hindus have one way,the guru made it clear.
Don't say Ram, Don't say Allah , so says Kabir.
--Kabir Sabda 10.
2. Saints I see the world is mad.
If i tell the truth they rush to beat me,
If i lie they trust me.
-- Kabir Sabda 4.
4. MIRA BAI:- ( Hinduism)
Born: Kurki, Rajasthan state 1498 CE.
Died : Dwaraka , Mughal Empire 1546 CE.
1. My Dark One has gone to an alien land.
He has left me behind, he's never returned, he's sent me a single word.
So I've stripped off my ornaments, jewels and adornments, cut my hair from the head.
And put on holy garments, all on his account, seeking him in all four directions.
Mira: unless she meets the Dark One, her Lord, she doesn't even want to live.
-- Mira Bai.
2. After making me fall for you so hard, where are you going ?
Until the day I see you, no response : my life , like a fish washed on shore, flails in agony.
For your sake I'll make myself a yogini, I'll hurl myself to death on the saw of Kashi.
Mira's Lord is the cleaver Mountain Lifter, and I am his, a slave to his lotus feet.
--Mira Bai.
